Payouts run once a month. Everything you earned up to the end of last calendar month is gathered into one transfer, sent in USD to the PayPal address on your account. The portal states the commitment on the Account page: Payouts are processed automatically by the 15th day of each month.
Every commission recorded for you sits in your unpaid balance, shown as Pending Payout on the Payouts page. Nothing is transferred as it arrives, and there is no button to request an early payment.
In the first days of each month we gather every unpaid commission dated up to the end of the previous month. The money itself is sent afterwards, by the 15th. So a balance that changes state a week before the money lands is normal and does not mean anything went wrong.
The run has no lower date limit. If an older balance was never paid, for instance because your PayPal address was added late, it is cleared in the same transfer as the current one. Your payment history still splits it into one row per original month, so several rows can correspond to a single transfer into your PayPal account.
Three things stop a balance from being paid:
There is no PayPal address on your account, in which case you are skipped entirely and the balance waits for the next run.
Your total for the run is zero, in which case there is nothing to send and no payout is created.
The commission came from a platform the run is not sweeping. Shopify commissions always go. WIX, WordPress and Direct are included only when we have switched them on, so ask us about those.
There is no minimum amount you have to reach. Any balance above zero is sent, whatever its size.
Read Pending Payout and Total Earnings so you read the right number as your balance.
