Anyone can open a partner account. There is no application to fill in and no approval queue: once your email address is verified, the account is active and your Partner ID works. The whole thing takes a couple of minutes.
Open the partner portal and choose Sign up! under New Progus Partner?. Enter your Email Address, a Password and Confirm Password, then tick I agree to the Progus Partners Agreement. A security check runs on the form, so the button stays inactive for a second or two before you can submit.
The same page offers Google and Apple sign-in. That skips the password field and the email verification step. It leaves you without a password you know, which both changing your password and deleting the account need later. Set one as described in Sign in, reset your password, and connect Google or Apple.
After signing up with an email address you get a verification message. The link in it is valid for 24 hours. Clicking it verifies the address and signs you straight into the portal, so there is no second login.
If you try to sign in before verifying, the form shows Please verify your email address to continue. with a Resend verification email button. Use it if the first message went to spam or the 24 hours ran out. Each resend produces a fresh link, again valid for 24 hours.
