Agencies and freelancers often install apps on a client store themselves, so there is no link for the merchant to click. Your Partner ID covers that case. It is a 10-character code that you paste into the app once it is installed, and it claims that shop for you exactly as a link would.
On Dashboard, the Your Partner ID card shows the code with a Copy button. Always use the button. The code mixes upper and lower case letters with digits, and it can also contain a hyphen or an underscore, which are the characters people mistype. Retyping the code is the most common way to lose a referral.
If the field reads Not available rather than a code, reload the page. If it stays empty, write to us before you install anything.
Install the Progus app the normal way, from the app store of the platform the shop runs on. Nothing special is needed at this stage.
The portal states it plainly: Paste this partner ID into the installed app on your client's store to assign them to you. Do this while you are still working in the shop. The assignment sticks for as long as the app stays installed.
Open Customers in the portal. The shop should be listed with the app under it and an installation date. If it is not there, the ID did not reach us, and nothing that shop pays later will be credited to you.
Read How a customer gets credited to you, in particular what the Customers page lists per app.
Installing a second Progus app on the same store? Supply your Partner ID again, otherwise the app will not be listed under that shop on Customers.
