Credit is decided at one moment: when a Progus app is installed on a shop and reports your Partner ID to us. Before that nothing is yours. After that the shop stays yours, an uninstall included, and every payment it makes to Progus for that app produces a commission for you.
Opening your link is recorded and it feeds the Clicks figure on Analytics. It creates neither a customer nor a commission. A high click count next to a low customer count is normal.
When the app is installed with your ID attached, the shop appears on your Customers page with an installation date, and the credit does not run out after a number of days. It is not sealed, though. An install carrying a different Partner ID creates a second credit row for the same shop and app, and which of the two earns depends on the platform. On Shopify the most recent Partner ID takes the commission. On WIX, WordPress and Direct, the first Partner ID recorded for that shop and app keeps it.
On Shopify, commission is attributed by shop domain. Once a domain is credited to you, any Progus app running on it earns you commission, whether or not you referred that app. The Customers page is the exception: a second app only appears under the shop when your Partner ID is supplied again for it, so it can list less than you earn on.
If a shop you referred is missing from Customers, the usual causes are these:
The link was edited, retyped or shortened, so your Partner ID never travelled with it.
The Partner ID was typed by hand into the app and one character is wrong.
The app was installed on a different platform than the link pointed at.
The merchant installed the app days later without using your link.
None of these can be repaired from your side. Write to us with the shop domain and the app.
